 Heather, Mimi, and Jessie headed home yesterday... There was not a dry eye.  I cannot express how thoroughly refreshing and comforting it was to have one of my best friends living here for the last seven days.  The kids never once argued...not even the siblings (at least nothing major).  Each day was simply plan as you go.  The first hours of their arrival the kids went into the pool and stayed there for at least 4 hours!  One of the more overcast days we went into Houston and took advantage of free Thursdays at the Museum of Art.  The kids also enjoyed a visit to the Butterfly House in the Museum of Natural History.  There were walks to feed the ducks, bike-rides to the playgrounds with "Uncle Scott", multiple 6 hour stints in the pool (ending with sores on the kids toes...but still worth the pain), a trip to the Koi pond on the Waterway, dinner with Heathers family (her Uncle lives 25 minutes north of us), rainy netflix binges with thunder raging outside, BFF dinner at The Cozy Supper Club in Montgomery with "The Eagles"... I could keep going!  WE MISS YOU GOODWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
