Okapi?

After a solid nights sleep and a hearty breakfast we hit the road and went to the Houston Zoo.  I actually ended up getting the membership because I know we will be back, and it allowed us to jet right past the huge line!  Boo-Yah!  We saw some amazing reptiles and equally amazing birds.  What really captured out imaginations was the okapi.  If you have no idea what it is I highly suggest you google it.  It was the last know mammal to be discovered.  Like some freakish mutt of nature! We ended with primates, and they did not disappoint!  Tomorrow I think we will head to the waterway before going to a Valentine's Day BBQ down the street.
