Everything All at Once!

So many questions have been answered since I last wrote.  Fiona committed to MASS ART!!!  She even knows who her roommates will be and everything!  She has been to her senior prom, accepted a scholarship from a local art association, and graduated.  Phew!  (And looked gorgeous through out.)
Meanwhile; I managed to study for two, (4 hours in length for each) MTEL ( Mass. Teachers Education License) tests and PASSED both!  PHEW!  At the same time I accepted the new job as a second grade teacher at Parker Elementary School in New Bedford.  I gave my two weeks notice at the charter and was able to get to know a few teachers and my future students at the new school by beginning my new job the last four weeks of the school year.
Ethan has been working extra hard for his travel ball team the "Bay Sox".  Go #44!  His dedication to this sport is pretty intense.  If he's not playing a game one day, he is working with his trainer or working out in our garage gym. He was also inducted into The National Honors Society.
Both kids finished the school year with honor roll.  Fiona's last report card ever!
Scott is constantly fretting over barges and hurricane barriers when he's not driving Ethan to a game or helping me in the garden.
The goal is to make the most of this summer.  Fiona goes to college the same day that I welcome my second graders into their classroom.  Scott is flying solo for college move in day.  We have a camping trip planned and vacation with my sister's family and my parents.  Packing it all in will be a pleasant challenge.

Ethan had a very sore throat at the end of school.  They drew his blood to check for mono.  It was the first time he ever had blood drawn!  He was fine by the way.

Last day of high school ever.  She was so over school.

City-Kitty Meow-Meow still comes by.

It's official

Gammy and Gampy wouldn't have missed it!

A tough goodbye to friends at the charter.

And my sweet sweet second graders.

It was worth the stress to work there for the friendships made.

It was hot in that gym during the graduation ceremony...

Badminton is always a good time.

I finger knit her a blanket to take to college.

And now the new school!

They have the old net!  Remember having to climb and touch the top bar...with just a thin blue mat to save you?

I'm already making new friends.

Fiona's graduation party.

Mommy- daughter walk.  The bruise on her calf is where her friends dog bit her...

Lunch entirely from my garden.

Father's day walk.

Mollie visit!

Best bike ride ever!
