Holy Sh*t! We did it AGAIN!!

And just like that I am writing from a new town...new state...new home.  The packing and sorting was hellacious, as to be expected.  We did the entire move ourselves in small parts.  Scott started his new job back in June, and was gone M-F.  Each time he would come to Maine we would pack the truck full and he would rent a UHAUL trailer to drag behind.  This allowed us to clear a lot of the big stuff early.  Ethan and I were living in pretty sparse quarters.  Lucky little Fiona moved into her Maine College of Art dorm just before things got real with the move.

Prior to Fiona's pre-college experience we made a plan to have a day at Funtown.  Perfect way to let off some steam and laugh out loud!  I was pretty good about going on all the rides (unlike Scott who gets "the dizzies").  There was one I absolutely refused to go on...and shockingly Scott did!  It was some insane tower that yanks you up, up, up...and just lets you go!

Ethan wrapped up his wood bat league games.  We were lucky to have some pretty nice weather toward the end of the season.  He has since tried out...and been asked to join, a local travel ball team here on the south shore!

I managed to squeeze in a new tattoo in the midst of all the chaos.  A girls gotta have her priorities right?

Fiona managed to squeeze in a belly button piercing...courtesy of her mom.  She begged for so long she wore me down:/

Since the move and setting the house up, Gammy and my sister have visited, Cara has come to spend the day and Mollie has spent the night.  I am so looking forward to more visitors and getting out to explore this area.

Only the beginning...

Scott found a "Womans Life" magazine from 1953 in the attic before we moved.  some very enlightening articles...

Who knew you could wash your HAIR with Listerine?

So true...

Ewww.  I hate the smell of cardboard.  The sound of packing tape gives me PTSD.

Mushroom waterfall in Morton's driveway.

It was very difficult to say goodbye.

I just love him.  (I'll be back for a weekend at their place in October, so that made goodbye a little less painful)

My sweet Betty.  We talk on the phone weekly.

So much sold!

Last fire in our homemade pit.

Last picnic at town landing.

Fiona's english presentation at end of school year.  They had to present to all the parents.

She was given an award from the entire high school staff for being a great all around kid!  The only award of it's kind.
