Nooooooooooooo!-Vember! Seriously. No.

Christmas commercials and decorations.  I'm not ready.  But either way, one must go on.  Scott and I savored one last camping trip this year during the first weekend in October.  My mom came up to stay with the kids and let them take care of her, while Scott and I made the two hour drive to our new favorite camp ground in NH.  The night time lows were in the low 30's and daytime highs in the low 50's.  Despite some cold air and a bit of rain (picture eating standing up hunched over a fire, sipping boiling coffee and snarfing down Scott's amazing banana/blueberry pancakes with a hint of drizzle while seeing each breath you take and struggling to hold everything with your mittens on).  Pure heaven to me.  LOVED.LOVED.LOVED.LOVED it.  We took a breathtaking hike.  I can't wait to get back in the tent this summer.

Shortly after our trip the kids went to their first ever dance!  It was Homecoming.  There was a huge turn out and they both had a blast.

Then Halloween.  Fiona went to a party the weekend before the official holiday, and Ethan went to a party on Halloween night.  Scott and I also went to a party the Saturday before.  It was fun to dress up.

This past weekend we enjoyed a trip to The Greenery Cafe in Ogunquit to meet Sandra.  That place has a great breakfast served all day and is the perfect halfway point.  It's always a joy to catch up with the ever ageless Sandra!

Always loud and proud!

We had a double rainbow greet us at the campground.

On our way up the mountain.

We were sitting right across from Mount. Washington.

My chef.  In his kitchen.

We hiked to the top of that bump.

This is from a walk near our house.

TONS of turkeys in the woods.

Dance ready!

Oh yeah!

Fiona and her date Jacob along with Ethan.

Ethan and Scott.

Ethan helping me figure out the phone...

So...this dolly head was in the attic.

Along with the arm.  Perfect for Halloween!

One of my last flower arrangements from the yard.

Day of the Dead.

With my handsome cowboy.

Ethan carved this guy.

Fiona and I got the back seat the other day while Ethan drove.

Brunch with Sandra.

Big leaf or little head.

And again...here we have boys balancing on a log.

I done did it!

He loves trying to jump the creek on this walk.  Glad Scott was there to grab him or he would have been backwards and under water!
