Bounce House was a Blast and Rockport Rocks!!!!!!!

Been a pretty intense week.  We enjoyed a delicious dinner and relaxing evening in Swampscott with Tania, Brett and Brody.  Kids enjoyed their goofy fun as usual...  Lots of running feet, giggles and thumps.  Then it was off to Plymouth for our seventh annual "Bounce House Day"!  Each year it gets better.  This year was NO exception!  Not only do we enjoy the fun the bounce house brings, but there is nothing like a nice visit at Aunties and some good Uncle Jason time.  (Not to mention the two adorable dogs!)  When all was deflated it was time to head back north to Gammy and Gampy's.  Meagan and Ellie made the journey as well so that all of us could make the trip to Rockport the following day for a visit with Joel and Marie.  It was our first time seeing their new home in the quintessential seaport town of Rockport, MA.  What a stunning walk from their home to downtown...where we enjoyed hotdogs, burgers, and tuna rolls...and then a little ice cream.  This morning Scott rolled away down the driveway with the trailer in tow.  She is headed into the shop for one night, and we miss her already!  Next time we see her she will have had her brakes completely overhauled and be sitting about five inches higher on some new suspension.

Cape Cod Traffic...YUCK.

On our way to Meagan's.

Summer in Nahant, Some Aren't.

Hot, hot, hot and sunny!  We had another PERFECT beach day in Nahant this week.  Arrived nice and early into town to visit with Jane.  Enjoyed coffee and donuts on her porch and headed across the street to see Jean and Mark.  Their little dogs are thankfully still alive and kicking at about 15 years old.  Fiona and Ethan have a special bond with those pups!  Around noon it was off to the Goodwin's fun and cozy home.  Heather worked hard to pack sandwiches and snacks enough for everyone, and after a long day at the beach her sister Keri cooked her delicious baked mac.  Mmmm.......  Yesterday we drove the "Silver Bullet" to Maudsley to meet up with Scott's Uncle Al and his friend Gerry.  They just happened to be in Newburyport for the holiday weekend.  How perfect!  Normally we would have had to visit them in the New York City area!  The weather was so glorious!  All enjoyed each others company over a light picnic.
We have had some great play days at mom and dads.  Hose fun, working on cars and trailer fun, going for ice cream in the perfectly red Corvair fun, long walks fun, watching "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid" with Gammy and Gampy fun....  Kids are excited to light off the fireworks mom and I got just over the boarder in Seabrook, NH.  We also have some scrap wood ready for a mini bonfire tonight.  Should be one of best fourths ever.

I took this on a walk in Newburyport along the boardwalk.

Fiona teaching Gampy to make an origami crane.

We allowed the kids to light some small fireworks the other day.

Tough life.  Reading in the hammock.

Or on the patio...

We cleaned the basement so well the kids have been able to use their scooters down in the cool air. (Even Gammy got into it!)

Scott has been putting HOURS into our trailer.
