Crawford Notch Camping 2015

Another Great camping trip in the books. 12 days straight with no rain, almost disappointed as we rigged a 20' tarp-we'll take it. No Storyland this year but lots of hiking in Crawford Notch and swimming in the Saco.

Mt Willard Hike w/ Gammy and Gampy:

Mom's Birthday with Gammy and Gampy- an epic 5 hour loop of Frankenstein cliff and Arethusa Falls, followed up by a birthday cake in the woods:

Just another day working on the River:

A perfect Labor Day: Dry River Trail hike to Mt Washington lookout-one of the few flatter hikes we went on. Found this perfect secluded swimming hole, 90 degree and no one on the trail:

One last pose with the best fairy house ever:

Jackson, NH with The Goodwins!

Check out that view!

Photo-bombed by a tiger...

Ethan hardly took any notice of the walrus behind him.

Classy ladies.

Back the Track 5k

Kids did great last week in a 1 mile race. Finished 17th and 18th overall results with about 70 kids toeing the line. Allison got a great picture with 3 time Olympian Shalane Flanagan after the finish. 1 mile distance was the perfect amount for them, both felt tired and worked but want to do it again. A great day (but super cold mid teens).

Rock Climbing at MetroRock

This place is awesome, certain to become a frequent spot for the Jasons.

Exploring Saugus Ironworks

Always been curious about this place. A great guided tour of America's first Ironworks put on by the NPS.  Interesting and the price was right at $Free 99.

Hiking at the Middlesex Fells

Headed over to the fells and went on about a 3 mile hike. Nice easy hiking, although a very busy place, I guess wet are not used to seeing so many "people" on our hikes. I've been wanting to check this place out as I've heard that the "skyline" trail can be a nice 7 plus mile run. Another pretty summer day. We managed to find the fire tower and hiked to the top of the graffiti filled tower for a nice view of the Boston Skyline.
